The contractor compound at the eastern end of the gardens has changed the access route. Park in the Eastern Esplanade bays only; the old service gate is now inside the contractor's fenced area and must not be used.

Sea wall works mean plant movements along the promenade throughout the day. Cross the promenade at the marked points only, and never walk behind a reversing vehicle.

Mobile signal along the sea wall is poor. Ring the office when you arrive and again when you leave.

The bed nearest the slipway floods on spring tides. If it is standing in water, skip it and note it on the job sheet rather than working in it.

Public footfall is high on warm days. Strimming near benches and the play area is done with a second person watching the cordon.
